Catalina and Luciana met in London, painting at Central St Martins, University of the arts, London. Since then they’ve met every year to create new works merging their styles with this balanced mix of brushstrokes.

 

When creating the starting point is nature and freedom, inspired by Latin American landscapes, with the presence of abstraction, they take them to large format canvases, co-creating from the inside out. With layers of acrylic, oil and pastels, they transform these images into balanced and peaceful sensations.

 

Each color is created in relation to the atmospheres that are captured within these 9 works, inviting the viewer to enter a landscape from which vitality springs and transmits calm.
